Competency Levels
MCESG has three levels of qualification that have been identified as minimum competencies necessary to address the needs of our served agencies and to assume the various roles and responsibilities identified in the communications plan.

Level 1 Qualification
Learn more →Introductory training for all voting members
- Participants shall have completed FEMA IS- 100 and IS-200.
- Local training includes Shelter Operations, Message Handling and SKYWARN.

Level 2 Qualification
Learn more →Assignment in the EOC or beyond Manatee County
- Participants shall have completed FEMA IS 700, IS-800 and ARRL EC-001.
- Participants are encouraged to take training with local partners.

Level 3 Qualification
Learn more →Section Leadership Appointees
- Leaders shall complete FEMA Professional Development and ARRL EC-016.
- Leaders should complete FEMA G-300, and G-400 when available locally.
